Oral Care: Mouth Wash and Toothpaste
The problems:
Toothpastes use abrasives to try to penetrate the biofilm and help scrub away the bacteria, but toothpastes have no agent that kills bacteria safely.
Biofilm (dental plaque) is a complex structure adhering to the teeth surfaces that consist of colonies of bacteria and other organisms sush as yeast, fungi, and protzoa that secrete a mucilaginous protective coating in which they are encased.
